Travel Guard Services, LLC ("SafeGard," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information (i.e., information reasonably related to a specific individual).
This Privacy Notice describes how we process personal information we collect through our websites, mobile application, and other online interactions and communications with you ("Services"). This Privacy Policy does not apply to information we handle to perform services on behalf of our business customers, including business customers that are healthcare providers or pharmacies. In those cases, our business customers (not SafeGard) control how your information is handled, so we encourage you to review our customers' privacy policies.
For example, we may collect "protected health information" that is subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ("HIPAA") on behalf of our customers that are "covered entities" under HIPAA, and we may also collect medical records not subject to HIPAA but protected by state law on behalf of the medical practices that provide telehealth services to you through the Services (collectively, "Protected Information"). This Privacy Notice does not apply to Protected Information.
When you sign up for an account to receive telehealth services through the Services, we use a third-party service provider to collect face scans to verify your identify. This information is considered "biometric information". This Privacy Notice does not apply to biometric information, which is subject to our Biometric Data Policy.
Changes to this Privacy Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Any updated Privacy Notice will be effective when posted. If required by law, we will contact you directly to provide you with an updated Privacy Notice. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you. The date the Privacy Notice was last revised is identified at the top of the page. Please check this Privacy Notice periodically for updates.
- Sources of Personal Information
We collect several types of information from and about users of our Services. We collect this information:
- Directly from you when you provide it to us.
- Automatically as you navigate through the site. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies.
- Types of Personal Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of personal information:
- Identifiers, including your name, email address, telephone number, and device identifiers (e.g., cookie IDs and IP address).
- Records about you, including copies of your correspondence (including email addresses) and the content of messages if you contact us.

- Non-precise geolocation data, such as your approximate location based on your IP address.

- To provide our Services, including maintaining or servicing accounts, providing customer service, processing or fulfilling orders and transactions, and verifying customer information.

- Internal research and product improvement purposes, including activities to verify or maintain the quality or safety of our Services, debugging to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality, and activities to improve, upgrade, or enhance the Services.
- For legal, safety, and security reasons, including to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations and to carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.
- In connection with a corporate transaction, including when we acquire assets of another business, or sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets including through a sale in connection with bankruptcy and other forms of corporate change.
We may use anonymized, de-identified, or aggregated information for any purpose permitted by law.

We may disclose personal information to third parties, including the following categories of third parties:
- To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
- To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business.
- To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by us about users of our Services is among the assets transferred.
- To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it.
- To law enforcement, government agencies, and other recipients for legal, security, or safety purposes. For example, we may share personal information to comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request, to enforce or apply our Terms of Service and other agreements, or if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our customers, or others.
- For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.
We may use anonymized, de-identified, or aggregated information for any purpose permitted by law.
- Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
We and our authorized third parties use the following tracking technologies to collect personal information:
- Cookies (or browser cookies). A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer. You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our Website. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you direct your browser to our Website.
- Web Beacons. Pages of our Website may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity).
We use cookies and other tracking technologies to understand how visitors use our Services and to improve the functionality and features of our Services. Web browsers often allow you to send a "Do Not Track" request with your browsing traffic to signal your request to not have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. We do not currently honor Do Not Track requests from web browsers.
- Data Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical steps to protect the personal information in our possession. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be fully secure. We recommend that you take reasonable precautions to protect the personal information you send and receive from us.
- Data Retention
We retain personal information as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we have outlined above unless we are required to do otherwise by applicable law. Once you have terminated your relationship with us, we may retain your personal information in our systems and records in order to ensure adequate fulfillment of surviving provisions in terminated contracts or for other legitimate business purposes, such as to enable easier future user onboarding, demonstrate our business practices and contractual obligations, or provide you with information about our products and services in case of interest.
- External Links
Our Services may contain links to external sites or other online services that we do not control, including those embedded in third party advertisements or sponsor information. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or data collection policies of such third-party services. You should consult the privacy notices of those third-party services for details on their practices.
- Children's Privacy
Our Services do not intend to collect Personal Data directly from children without first obtaining verifiable parental consent. If a child is under the age of 13, the child may use the Services only with the consent of or under the supervision of the parent or legal guardian, or as otherwise permitted under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"). Consistent with the principles underlying COPPA, if we learn that we have received any information directly from a child under age 13 without first receiving his or her parent's verified consent, we will use that information only to respond directly to that child (or his or her parent or legal guardian) to inform the child that he or she cannot use the Service and subsequently we will delete that information. If you believe we might have collected any information from or about a child under age 13 without parental consent, please contact us at office@sgtravelmed.com and indicate "Under 13" in the Subject field.
Parents may send an email office@sgtravelmed.com to request access to, correct or delete any Personal Information that we maintain about you or your child. We will do our best to accommodate your request as long as we believe the change would not violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
- Nevada Residents
If you are a Nevada resident, you have the right to opt out of the sale of certain Personal Information, including your name and mailing address, to third parties.
- California Residents
California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code Section 1798.83) permits California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send an email to

- International Transfers of Personal Information
If you are located outside of the United States and provide personal information to us, your personal information will be transferred to the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of the country in which you reside. By providing us with your personal information, you acknowledge that your personal information will be transferred to the United States and processed on servers in the United States. If you do not want to have you Personal Information transferred and processed in the United States, please do not submit it us.
